I'm very grateful to hold a position that allows me to interact with people who appreciate floating as much as I do. Knowing the benefits these people gain through their experience makes for very engaging and fulfilling work. As a facilitator at the float center, I greet incoming floaters and give them an overview of the therapy session. I offer tips to improve their time in the float tank. I focus on maintenance of the tanks to ensure a consistent experience. After leaving the tank I ask floaters for feedback on their experience and discuss ways in which future sessions might be improved.
