Overseeing operations in the University Center on campus. This includes setting, running, and striking daily meetings, upholding building cleanliness, and fixing any issues that arise in the building (customer complaints, technical/facility issues, etc.). Other common duties include setting up/running large events, setting up/running sound and lighting, working with customers from various organizations with reservations, and assisting our Productions and Custodial teams.

PLTL (Peer-Led Team Learning) Leader for General Chemistry I. Involves leading weekly discussion sections of 10-14 students through practice problems relating to course content. Additional experiences include material preparation, weekly seminars with other PLTL Leaders, and professional development in the field of teaching through regular readings.

Assisted with creating experimental setup to measure Magneto-Optical Kerr Effect with tasks included building and optimizing the precise optical setup, testing and troubleshooting equipment, solving experimental errors, and performing data analysis.

Assisted with Summer School and Extended Day programs at Otter Lake Elementary in White Bear Lake over the summer. This involved working closely with staff and elementary-age children to create a positive experience as well as helping teach reading and math skills. This job required a high degree of flexibility and learning on my end as my specific assisting role changed often.

Working at the company's retail outlet in downtown White Bear Lake. This included typical retail tasks such as serving customers, handling money transactions, and handling/making certain food products (Ice Cream, sandwiches, and minor cake adjustments). Making a variety of coffee drinks was also a large part of the job, creating/serving teas, espresso drinks, and drip coffee. I was also often tasked with training new employees, managing customer complaints, and overseeing opening/closing operations.

Summer internship in the technology department at the White Bear Lake Area School District with duties involving assisting professional staff prepare district-wide technologies for the following school year. Tasks included unboxing and enrolling mass numbers of chromebooks with a team of other interns, replacing and installing computer/phone systems across district schools, and organizing various equipment across the district to create a functional and efficient environment wherever technology was used.
