Sports Construction Group, LLC, a self-performing general contractor and an industry leader in the natural synthetic turf athletic field construction and installation business. With projects ranging in size from municipal soccer fields, to the famous Yankee Stadium (both old and new), it was a challenging work environment that demanded results. As an Estimator/ Senior Project Manager, I was in charge of handling high profile projects with unique working conditions under tight timelines and demanding owners. Working from the corporate office on out of state projects made it difficult to secure materials and subcontractors, nearly every project location was different and new vendors were needed on a regular basis. Sourcing the correct suppliers and subcontractors for these projects was critical to the success of the project. I was able to manage multiple projects while continuing to bid new opportunities all while routinely exceeding profit margins. • Civil/Sitework construction including estimating, bid preparation, project buyout, project management, design/build, submittal packages and project closeout. • Progress meetings with owners, architects, construction managers, and subcontractors • Create all CAD drawings for design/build projects • Prepare shop and presentation drawings for synthetic turf installation and purchasing • Actively involved in sales meetings with potential clients, project architects and consultants • IT Manager for the company, troubleshoot computer issues, software upgrades, daily upkeep
