Matt Johns

With a deep-rooted passion for aviation, I have been fortunate to build a career that spans more than a decade, starting in 2013 as a co-op student at Haeco in Macon, GA. My journey began with hands-on experience maintaining Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft, and it has evolved into a rewarding career in corporate aviation. Over the years, I have worked extensively on a wide range of airframes, including Embraer, Cessna Citations, Bombardier, and Gulfstream aircraft. Since 2016, I have been a dedicated member of the Stevens Aerospace team, contributing to our mobile maintenance department, AOG. In 2018, I transitioned into Quality Assurance, ensuring that our services adhere to the highest standards and maintaining a focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence. In 2023, I took the next step in my career by working with the founder of Volar LLC, a repair station located at M54 in Lebanon, TN. I was responsible for developing the repair station manual in compliance with CFR 14 Part 145, collaborating with the FAA to ensure the manual system was implemented and followed by all personnel. This venture allowed me to apply my knowledge and passion for aviation in a new, entrepreneurial direction. To further my commitment to professional growth, I obtained my Private Pilot's License and Inspection Authorization, which reflects my dedication to continually expand my skills and expertise in the aviation industry. With a strong foundation in both technical expertise and regulatory compliance, I’m excited about the future of aviation and the opportunities to continue contributing to its advancement.
