£500k leisure centre refurbishment in Swindon

This role involves attending pre-let meetings, contract review (JCT and NEC), negotiation and sign-off (both main contractor and new suppliers), collateral warranty review and sign-off, applications, month end costings (WIP), shortfall payments, pricing variations, dealing commercial problems, final accounts. I have also implemented some new procedures. Average of 25 live projects ranging from £100k to £3m.

This role involved running subcontract packages on 6 phases of a social housing redevelopment from early procurement though to final account. I also dealt with some supplier rebate agreements.

My role was running various contracts, either on my own for smaller projects or as part of a team on the larger projects from the procurement of the subcontract packages to settling the final accounts. This included all financial management including pricing variations, subcontract payments and monthly valuations Town Quay, Southampton, £1million. Refurbishment of serviced offices, new communal area, hallways and offices. Portswood House, Chandlers Ford, £13million. Complete strip out and re-modelling of existing offices. Additional storey to existing floor. Pembrook Court, £5million. Care home, Demolition and groundworks, plus early procurement. New build Care home complex, Yately, £18million. Part of the team reporting to a site based MQS. Procurement of Waitrose Bagshot, £3.5million

Wickham Doctors Surgery, £2million, JCT Intermediate. New Build doctor surgery comprising of pad foundations, steel frame, masonry and all internals. Day Nurseries x 2, £500k each, JCT Intermediate. Strip foundations, steel frame and all internals. My role was running 4 contracts from the procurement of the subcontract packages to settling the final accounts. This includes all financial management including pricing variations, subcontract payments and monthly valuations. The projects range in value from £450k to £2.0m. I am involved with Client and PQS liaison regarding value engineering. I also produce monthly cost report for the management.

(Temporary Contract) My primary role was to head the site commercial team on a £13.1m social housing redevelopment with early procurement, allocation of packages and value engineering amongst the team. In addition I was responsible for Client and PQS liaison regarding contact valuations, variations and additional costs. I also produce cost report for the management.

(Temporary contract.) My primary role was to send enquiries for subcontract packages, analyse these when they were returned and value engineer for a £8.4m Student Accommodation project in Chichester. I submitted costings for variations to the client due to contract negotiations and design development. I also gave cost advice to both the client and the employers agent to enable to the project to go to contract.
