Co-facilitate various evidence-based treatment classes to aid individuals in the recovery from substances and alcohol. Provide one-on-one case managment services to individuals and aid in recovery through various aspects in the clients life that they might be struggling with.

Perform outreach in four rural counties with the goal to identify, contact, and qualify homeless veterans. Screen veterans for program eligibility based on living conditions and military service criteria. Enroll qualifying veterans into SSVF program, which includes gathering applicant demographics, service dates and discharge status, income, employment history, and medical information. Identification of potential housing options meeting the individual applicant’s needs, based on family size, medical requirements, and available financial resources. Provide temporary financial assistance for program participants, as individual circumstance requires. Development of a housing stability plan for each enrollee. Assist veterans in becoming more self-sufficient though targeted employment and veterans’ benefit referrals

Provide comprehensive employment services to individuals that are homeless within the City of Spokane that include resume preparation, assist with obtaining interview and work clothing, and public transportation assistance.

Provide employment support to individuals with both cognitive and physical disabilities referred from Washington State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Supportive services included resume preparation, weekly job search, advocating, employer contact, assist in obtaining interview clothes, and mock interviews.

Performed various tasks in support of SNAP staff members and programs, as part of a compensated field practicum experience. Tasked with preparing intake packets for the Spokane County Re-Entry Initiative Program, co-facilitating the intake classes, and entering participant information into various databases. Provided direct client case management for Housing Options, Home 1st, and outreach programs. Selected as a team leader and trainer for the 2013 Spokane Homeless Connection Fair.

Performed as part of a therapeutic team providing 24/7 care to developmentally disabled and protective custody clientele. Tasked with administering prescribed medications and documenting time of administration and dosage. Responsible for implementation of prescribed client specific behavior modification regimes and life skills education. Monitored clients’ activity and documented it during a daily eight hour shift.
