Matheus Mathias Almada

I hold a degree in Production Engineering from Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and currently work as Head of Groceries & Shoppers at Rappi BR, leading the national commercial and operational strategy for the supermarkets vertical and shopper operations. I’m responsible for managing the commercial team, developing strategic partnerships with major retail chains and building growth strategies focused on GMV expansion, portfolio performance and operational efficiency. Before advancing into a national leadership position, I worked as a TAM & Project Specialist at Rappi LATAM, where I built a strong foundation in data analysis, KPI governance and metrics-driven decision-making, collaborating closely with central Product, Operations and BI teams based in Colombia. This experience strengthened my ability to operate in multicultural environments and enhanced my professional communication in both English and Spanish. I bring a results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on team development and cross-functional leadership, aiming to create scalable structures that connect commercial strategy, technology and operations. I’m motivated by high-growth environments where I can drive tangible impact in revenue, strategic partnerships and market performance, while developing people and building sustainable leadership models.
