Mathias Bøgelund Madsen

As a Project Manager and Mechanical Design Engineer, I’m responsible for the projects coming from Sarstedt. I lead the development of the Tempus600 and Tempus1800 series, ensuring that ideas are turned into real, functional solutions in close collaboration with the team. Currently, I’m working on the mechanical design and development of Sarstedt’s newest product, the Quantit TQ006. This role gives me a great opportunity to both develop and prototype – something I truly enjoy.

Kasparium is a startup that needed to have a production-ready logistics robot. My responsibilities included: * Lead the mechanical development between different departments and considering all stakeholders. * Develop the product from concept to production in the most cost-effective way.

I work for the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering i a research group, where we design and build robots and automated machines for researchprojects. My work-times are 100%-flexible, but about 30 hours a week

I possess a B1.3 certificate of recognition (COR), which means i am certified to work on military turbine driven helicopters such as Lynx MK90B, EH-101 Merlin and AS-550 Fennec. The daily tasks consisted of mainly mechanical maintenance, but i have also experience in working with Hydraulic systems. As i worked in the Danish Airforce, I am used to work with classified subjects. A focus point in the work environment was the ability to work in teams, where communication was a key component to ensure correct handover between shifts, hence securing the integrity of the aircraft.

As a plumbing trainee, I tagged along with with an experienced plumber and helped their clients with problems regarding plumbing in their residents. My main task was to install under-floor heating pipes. They have greatly appreciated my flexibility in regards to working hours.

Bechelor project: "Partial automated productionline for ventilationmotors" - Mechatronics Grade: 10 Specialization: "Mechatronics", "Applied CFD", "Composites", "Plastics" and "Diffenrential geometry and partial diffential equations"

The course taught us the basic working principles of wind turbines including Aerodynamics, Gearbox, Tower etc. The course ended with a 3 day project where the goal was to find innovative solutions to a problem the wind turbine industry faces. My team and I won a prize for "Best Practical solution". Our solution was minded the anti-icing problem windturbines faces in cold climate.
