Massimo Mineo, Bsc, Msc

I’ve spent nearly 30 years building, scaling and leading organisations across pharmaceuticals, biotech and, more recently, venture creation. Although my roles have evolved, the thread has always been the same - helping innovative science become real, investable and impactful businesses. I began my career in finance and corporate strategy, working on international expansions, M&A, business-unit creation and licensing. This foundation allowed me to step into global leadership roles, managing operations across Europe and the US and overseeing rare disease portfolios with complex development and commercial pathways. Over time, my focus moved naturally towards biotech and early innovation. I’ve served as CEO of several biotech companies, leading strategy, fundraising, scientific development and partnerships across neuroscience, rare diseases and emerging therapeutic areas. These experiences reinforced my conviction that great science often needs both disciplined execution and entrepreneurial speed to reach patients. Today, as Co-Founder and CEO of VIDALL Venture Studio, I combine all these elements. VIDALL is a hybrid venture studio and investment platform that builds and backs innovation-driven companies across biotech, life tech, foodtech and digital verticals. We create 2–3 ventures a year, blending capital with hands-on operational support. Biotech remains a core part of my identity, providing my support to founders, boards and scientific teams across the UK and Europe. Outside of work, I’m committed to charity and community engagement - a reminder that innovation matters most when it improves lives.
