I'm grateful to be back in school after 28 years of running my production company. It felt like the right time to go after my dream of getting a terminal degree so I can give back to teaching in the academy system. Advisors at VCFA/CalArts have inspired me; visiting filmmakers and speakers and working with my new film cohort have been life-changing. It's strange how leaving LA has given me a great new creative outlook again. I'm looking forward to sharing the films I create and this new journey I am on. I was invited by Technogym's Content Director, Attilio Grilloni to work with his six top-International Trainers. Leading them through a series of practical lessons designed to open up their performance on camera, enhancing their engagement with their audiences and creating a deeper more powerful connection.  Topics Covered: Unlearning Bad Habits & Finding Your Unique You - Trainers will unlearn some old bad habits and identify what makes a great performances. They also investigate their own unique qualities building a more natural and organic voice so they can better entertain and connect with their audiences.  Solid Intros & Killer Closes - Trainers create simple unique scripts so they have confidence every time they step in front of the camera and will sign off with clear confidence every time.  Story Telling - Trainers will learn how to share personal stories and connect bigger ideas to their workouts and purpose. This skill has the ability to build larger platforms from which trainers can reach a larger and deep audience base when mastered.

I was invited by the Senior Talent Producer, Cassie Piasecki to get in the ring with the elite trainers of FightCamp and work with them on-camera and lead them through exercise I've developed over the past 20 years to take trainers from OK to Masterful on-camera. This is a privilege and honor for me given their reputation and talent. FightCamp is an in-home workout utilizing studio-quality equipment and powerful tech to maximize the user experience and performance.

Tonal hired Mason Bendewald as a recognized veteran and leader in the fitness space to cast and coach on-camera talent in the San Francisco and Los Angeles markets. "Tonal is the world's most intelligent home gym and personal trainer."

Mason was hired to find and train lead talent for SUPERNATURAL (VR) which was purchased by META® shortly after.

Managing a production budget of 2.5MM Mason was called on by Europe's largest gym chain, McFit GmHb to create world-class workouts in jaw dropping locations. In two years Mason produced some of the most cinematic programs ever produced in the fitness industry.
