Mason Boldig
Maintenance Technician @ Nueske's Applewood Smoked Meats
About
I am a licensed electrician and industrial maintenance professional with nearly a decade of experience supporting manufacturing, food production, and industrial operations. My background includes plant maintenance, industrial electrical systems, controls, and mechanical troubleshooting, with a strong emphasis on working independently, planning my own work, and keeping critical systems running with minimal supervision. I currently work at Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Meats, where I have spent over two years maintaining and improving production equipment, electrical systems, and facility operations in a fast paced food manufacturing environment. I regularly prioritize work orders, plan repairs and upgrades, troubleshoot failures, and execute jobs start to finish, helping minimize downtime and keep production moving. Before Nueske’s, I spent three years as a Construction Electrician with the IBEW, where I not only performed hands on electrical work but also led crews, coordinated job tasks, and managed sections of projects in the field. I was responsible for organizing daily work, assigning tasks, maintaining safety and quality, and ensuring jobs stayed on schedule. Prior to the IBEW, I worked with Faith Technologies, gaining strong experience in controls, panels, switchgear, transformers, and large scale electrical installations. Earlier in my career, I worked as a Press Mechanic and Maintenance Mechanic, which built a strong foundation in mechanical systems, fabrication, and industrial troubleshooting that continues to strengthen my electrical work today. I am known for being highly self directed, reliable, and accountable. I don’t wait for direction, I identify the problems, plan the work, gather the materials, and complete the job safely and correctly. Alongside my professional work, I am currently an undergraduate at Northcentral Technical College, working toward an Associate of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, building deeper skills in automation, manufacturing systems, process improvement, project management, and leadership.
