I brought together city leaders and community leaders to create a communication system to discuss the livability and sustainability around the East Link Rail system being built on the Eastside of Seattle over the next ten years. I served as a liaison between community members, community organizations, the private sector, and city officials to ensure that elected officials and city management were aware of neighborhood and private sector needs and concerns regarding the development of the East Link Rail project. I provided outreach and support to neighborhood-based community groups, especially to under-represented and underserved groups, to assure their awareness and participation in the development of the rail stations was heard by transit and city officials. Coordinated logistics for education classes with Programs Director which included organizing facilities and managing all event details.

Managed the warehouse operations with a weekly clothing drive and hard goods distribution. And managed over a 100 volunteers a month to sort and organize clothing for children’s clothing bags. Received product shipments, and maintained an organized environment. Developed a volunteer recognition plan. And accountable for creating and managing over 40 Community Drives. Worked with 45 social service agencies to provide clothing and hard goods for children including 10 area food banks.
