Role impacted by redundancy - December 2023. The Lab17 partners with ventures looking to mature to the next stage of growth by building sustainable teams and strong cultures. We specialize in talent expansion, helping businesses hire and retain as they rapidly evolve. Key partnerships during my tenure include: Virtually Human Studio - delivering the the businesses talent attraction strategy, ATS implementation, interview training & framework rollout, in addition to delivering across Engineering, Product, People and Data positions ubank - accountable for the full end to end success of ubank's talent acquisition function and for leading a team of 3 talent partners.

Embedded partnership through The Lab17. During my tenure at ubank, I lead the Talent Acquisition function end-end, which included leading a small team of TA partners who delivered more than 150 external hires within the first 10 months of being in the business, predominantly within ubank's tech and product teams. As a hands-on contributor, whilst owning all functional outcomes of the department, I was personally responsible for delivering on all senior appointments and tech/product positions, which included successfully hiring the following key positions: Head of Enterprise Delivery, Head of Design, Growth Director(s), Head of Delivery(x2), Head of Engineering and Engineering Managers, whilst working in close partnership with ubank's executive leadership team. We were also successful in building and implementing ubank's fully in-house talent function, which was previously entirely dependent on the use of external recruitment agencies, saving the bank upwards of $2m in agency fees within our first 12 months of implementing this model.

Embedded Partnership via Lab17 Leading the Talent function and managing all things engineering & product recruitment for the APAC & Americas region, Virtually Human Studio is an NFT product lab focused on the future of entertainment & the mastermind behind the worlds first skilled horse racing game to live on blockchain and the open market, ZED RUN.

Led the Strategic Sourcing Recruitment team; accountable for identifying talent sourcing strategies for the business & delivering on 'hard to fill' positions across Tech, Exec and Band 1 appointments.

Working with the business to identify ways to improve our ability to source talent on Hard to fill positions, predominantly within the Tech space. This included the introduction of attraction strategies, across key talent segments both in Australia and internationally & the use of data driven insights to make informed hiring recommendations.

I was fortunate enough to work at Interpro for two stints whilst travelling Australia! My role included connecting in-demand Software Engineering professionals, with clients in the Brisbane and Melbourne markets.
