Overflow IT Technician for Dell through SMARTECH & Associates, LP, via Unisys. I have achieved some Dell certifications and travel to customer sites in the Central Valley to install parts in Dell computers.

I substitute teach at elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. I especially enjoy the Special Education classes.

I fostered a neighbor child who was friends with my two sons. He became in need of a home through Child Protective Services. They called us "Relative Care Foster Parents" because we knew the boy. In addition to providing total care for this boy, I voluntarily obtained all the training available for Foster Parents. As a result of my extra efforts to provide the best care possible for our foster son, I received an unexpected and prestigious award for Exceptional Care of Teens.

I do whatever jobs are available in the area, and I sometimes travel. I recently did a Holiday Health Check on the computer systems at Best Buy in the Bay Area. This included inventory and checking the functionality of their computers, printers, hand scanners, credit card pin pads, and hand scanners.

I gave multilevel marketing a try. My heart wasn't into spending money up front for companies I wasn't certain of. Although I liked the people I met, the SEC shut down ZEEK Penny Auctions as a Ponzi scheme and I lost quite a bit of money. At that point I lost interest in pursuing multilevel marketing as a professional career. I did however achieve a new agent sales goal with ACN that I will post.

I created financial plans for customers as well as recruited new agents. I sold life insurance and annuities. This was primarily residential sales based off of referrals and leads.

Worked as lead tech for printer, workstation, and server replacement and deployment at Chase banks. I checked in with attendance and deployment lines, inventoried all equipment, prepped new equipment, worked with customer to drive wipe the old equipment, worked with Deployment Team to install and configure new systems, ensured a clean work environment, managed expectations with site contact, managed team, issues, and escalations, and released the specialist once the installation was complete and the work area was cleaned up.

We also offer computer support. We pride ourselves on hiring trained qualified team members that are industry experts in their field. I sold and upgraded multi-function copier systems for C A Reding. My client strategy was focused on helping organizations better manage their document-handling processes that increased performance while lowering monthly expenses. We did this through the use of software, multi-function copiers, network support, mobile printing, and modern document archiving when needed. I strived to help companies to increase their competitive edge, elevate office productivity, enhance document management, speed output of time sensitive documents, and elevate employee productivity. I successfully tracked customers and leads in Salesforce CRM software.

As a recruiter for the Trucking Industry, I functioned as a liaison of the assigned program and interacted with management, staff, and drivers to provide specific information, answer questions, and address issues / problems raised. I automated a personal database software to input, organize, track, and retrieve data to streamline recruiting. I performed the following day to day skills to promote effective hiring of new drivers; Overcame obstacles and solved new hire problems, cooperated with the Safety Director, enforced company policy, created, managed, and used my prospect database for securing new drivers. I oversaw the hiring process from prospecting for truck drivers, to streamlining the application process, to coordinating with our office staff for qualifying the candidates and internal safety compliance training, to acting as a liaison between the potential driver and the outside truck driver training companies. I also recruited drivers at truck stops and truck shows with booths, candy, humor, and music to catch their attention and start a conversation.

I was a top Business to Business Corporate Account Manager (sales) to Fortune 1000 accounts including Ford and Humana. I provided consultive selling. I developed relationships with decision makers in larger businesses and business owners in smaller ones. I serviced new and existing clients obtained by leads, referrals, and cold calls. I performed a needs analysis, provided options, overcame objections, and coordinated delivery, training, and tech support. I provided regular follow up with my customers and continued to make contact with potential clients. My success was directly related to my persistence in relationship building and taking care of my clients needs.

I filled in as a substitute teacher for 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and also for younger kids, I think 2nd grade. My duties are to help students to learn and provide classroom instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher I report and carry out a program of study prescribed in the lesson plans left by the classroom teacher. I create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students. I may perform duties usually required of the absent teacher such as lunchroom duty, hall monitoring, etc. And I make myself aware of school procedures and regulations. I consider distracting and challenging students to be little leaders that need a job, and I put them in charge of various duties such as attendance or reading, etc. My experience so far has been good, and I really like the students I have worked with.

I have previous career experience in the computer field and wanted to update my skills. I have consistently been on Deans list, I have completed my Comptia A + Certification, and I hope to obtain my networking certification by the time I graduate this February. I already have a college degree as well as proven success in computer technical support, sales, presentations, training, management, and business ownership. I love people and technology, a rare and valuable combination for businesses. I am seeking good employment that will utilize one or both skill sets. If the opportunity is lucrative enough, I am open to employment in several cities and surrounding areas where I have family: Fresno CA, Atlanta GA, Montgomery or Mobile Alabama.
