About
Mary Holscher's areas of expertise as a psychologist include couples therapy and working with individuals in transition. She has been in practice for 35 years. Primary influences/models include Carl Rogers, Carl Whitaker, EFT (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy), Dan Wile, Hedy Schleifer, and AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy). She has taught extensively at the graduate level in psychology (Antioch University) and in a doctoral program in Transformational Learning (California Institute of Integral Studies). She is currently one of the faculty teaching the six-quarter Leadership and Personal Development course sequence at Bainbridge Graduate School, an innovative MBA program in sustainable business. She loves creative writing, including fiction, memoir and essays. She is a published writer who has led many small creative writing groups, as well as coached individual writers.

Adjunct faculty for two-year course on Leadership and Personal Development taken by all students in this innovative MBA in Sustainable Business (lead faculty 2007-2008). Its purpose is to provide a context for the inner work necessary to be effective change agents in sustainability. As Co-Ombudsman (in 2008-2009) helped to strengthen and sustain organizational coherence and capacity during a year of significant transition. After a three year break, Mary returned to teach Leadership and Personal Development again, beginning Fall Quarter 2012 and ending Spring Quarter 2014.
