Directed budgeting, forecasting, accounting and financial compliance activities for the Information Technology function. Scope included IT Annual Operating Budget of $41 million and IT Annual Capital Budget of $79 million. Managed IT lease portfolio of over $12 million. Included personal computers, servers, printers and mainframe computer equipment. Negotiated and executed contracts with several leasing providers. Participated in developing and implementing the IT strategic plan. Developed the annual and three-year IT financial plan to ensure adequate resources were available to meet ongoing operations, as well as current and future strategic projects. Directed activities of outsourced IT Asset Management organization. Successfully led USG team and 20 external consultants in a $10 million project to convert all USG U.S. and Canadian manufacturing locations from Microsoft Windows 3.1 to Microsoft Windows XP. Member of Executive Steering Committee for major Enterprise Resource Planning implementation (Oracle). Reviewed all IT Contracts and provided IT Procurement best practices to other areas of the department. Member of USG Corporation's Sarbanes Oxley 404 Compliance Steering Committee.

Led USG team in the development of an Information Technology Strategy for the Corporation. Worked closely with major consulting firm. Successfully directed the Corporation's Y2K project, a $10 million initiative, with frequent updates to USG's Board of Directors.

Responsible for monthly financial statement preparation and reporting for a $1.4 billion subsidiary. Directed the Credit, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Capital Accounting functions. Conducted financial best practices benchmarking study (The Hackett Group) of all manufacturing locations and corporate office financial functions. Recommended and executed process changes and organizational restructurings to achieve cost savings.

Held various financial positions, including Plant Controller and Financial Analyst.
