Managed the implementation of library management software in academic libraries including training of its functionality on site at the academic institutions. Coordinated the conversion of library data for the customer. Included troubleshooting issues related to data conversion. Guided customers in the configuration and set up of the automated library system to meet the needs of the institution. Dealt with issues pertaining to configuration and set-up of the WEB based OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) used by library patrons and the graphical user interface client used by library staff. Communicated directly with customer staff at the academic institutions. Required effective interpersonal skills in addition to the ability to clearly communicate goals and methodology to customers and colleagues within the company. Customers were primarily from the academic environment and were most rewarding to work with.

Ten years experience as a Catalog Librarian in various departments within the library system, preceded by 5 years experience as a Library Assistant. Cataloged and classified monographs, microforms, maps, serials and other non-print and electronic materials in English and several European languages. Also provided reference services at a busy reference desk, teaching students, faculty and staff the use of online catalogs, periodical indexes, full-text databases and web-based resources; conducted bibliographic instruction sessions. Served as a member of a materials selection team and actively participated in collection development initiatives.
