Float therapist in an acute care setting. Completed evaluations, developed written treatment plans, and provided on-going treatments that are designed to improve the patient's functional status in conjunction with overall treatment objectives. Tailored treatment sessions for neuro patients (SCI, CVA, andTBI) with emphasis in neuroplasticity and neuro re-education; as well as orthopedic traumas/ routine joint replacements, cardiopulmonary conditions, and sepsis.

Float therapist in an outpatient setting and acute care setting. In the acute care setting, managed care plans for diagnoses such as cardiopulmonary conditions, general debility, strokes, Hip/ knee replacements. Conducted client-centered evaluations, using standardized and non-standardized assessment, formulated occupation-based treatment plans, and constructed discharges that ensured safety for the individual and their support system.

Acute care student clinical rotation focused on melanoma, sarcoma, gynecology, general internal medicine, and inpatient rehabilitation. Conducted client-centered evaluations using standardized and non-standardized assessments, interpreted data collected through evaluation, and created care plans. Managed caseload of 16-20 individuals and executed occupation based interventions to maximize independence prior to discharge. Coordinated care with physical therapists, social workers, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, and physicians to ensure safe discharges for all patients.

Early intervention student clinical rotation focused on screening and evaluating children (0-3 y.o.) for developmental delays. Provided therapeutic interventions for infants and toddlers and their families in natural environments with the goal of facilitation of engagement in childhood occupations and maximize performance potential.
