I am committed to developing lasting, science-driven solutions that center communities and build their capacity to lead conservation efforts. Based in Kenya for the last 10 years, I thrive off of interactive projects and programs: I currently coordinate a multi-institutional collaboration that aims to fill critical data gaps for wildlife conservation in northern Kenya. My work spans 'doing' and teaching conservation strategy. I care deeply about ensuring that rigorous science translates into practical tools and training that empower local teams to sustain these efforts independently, creating equitable outcomes for both nature and communities.
