I was chosen to partake in a highly competitive and rigorous 14-week data science merit-based fellowship. This experience immersed me in a dynamic learning environment, where I engaged with real-world data science business cases and received instruction from esteemed educators from prestigious institutions such as MIT and Harvard. Also, I was a collaborative team member during this immersive fellowship, working closely with five peers. Together, we embarked on a research endeavour: unravelling the enigma of successful movie sequels. Exploring extensive datasets sourced from IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, and The Movies. We adeptly constructed a robust data pipeline utilizing Python and Jupyter Notebook, which enabled us to efficiently process and analyze a vast collection of over 800 distinctive movie titles. By examining the data and employing analytical techniques, I extracted invaluable insights and trends that shed light on the factors influencing the success of movie sequels.
