Worked as Team Leader of a multidisciplinary geoscience team representing Cairo University in the IBA 2026 competition, leading integrated exploration workflows including seismic interpretation, geological and petrophysical analysis, 1D basin modeling, and prospectivity evaluation using Petrel, Techlog, PetroMod, and PaleoScan. Collaborated closely with the team to deliver data-driven exploration insights, support technical decision-making, and participate in weekly technical review sessions with project advisors. The team achieved 1st place in Egypt and ranked 3rd across Africa.

Collected and analyzed market data on oil & gas companies, construction firms, banks, and manufacturing plants in Egypt. Conducted client visits to present HR outsourcing and manpower supply services, supported company registration for labor and HR solutions, and contributed to business development, client acquisition, and relationship management across multiple sectors.

Participated in a Field Camp as a team member, applying four geophysical methods at the Magnetic Observatory in the Western Desert. Conducted field trips to Qasr El Sagha and El Galala, performing geological sketching, cross section drawing, and rock sampling as part of a team. Contributed as a team member to a problem-solving project in the Shell NXplorers Program. Completed a technical project within a multidisciplinary team involving seismic interpretation, geological and petrophysical analysis, and basin modeling using Petrel, Techlog, and Petromode, supporting integrated G&G decision-making. Attended AI Academy, applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to geoscience workflows. Participated as a team member in a Scenario Planning Program, developing strategic thinking and decision-making skills under uncertainty.

Collected information on oil and gas companies in Egypt and visited clients to present company services. Assisted companies in registering for labor supply and HR services, supporting business development and client engagement.

Worked as part of a team on applying advanced ML workflows in Petrel. Applied unsupervised neural networks for facies classification, built 3D Geobodies for channel systems, and extracted reservoir bodies. Applied supervised neural networks for pore-pressure prediction and overcame several technical challenges by developing and applying appropriate solutions. Integrated ML workflows to support reservoir understanding and well planning. Participated in continuous review meetings with supervisors and delivered final presentations—once at BP and once at the university. Documented the full technical workflow.

Trained on land and marine seismic data processing using Paradigm software. Practiced trace editing, first break picking, and static corrections.

Attended sessions on wellsite geology, mud logging, seismic interpretation, petrophysics, and basic Petrel software training. Gained hands-on experience in data analysis and subsurface interpretation workflows.
