As a midwife: - Monitor women and support them during labour and the birthing process -Conduct low risk delivery -Manage and assist the high risk and instrumental delivery with coordination with the OB-GYN physician -Monitoring the CTG during labour -Teach the patient the right way to breathe and how to push and when. - receive the baby and making the newborn care and initial resuscitation if the baby need it • Working in the prepartum and postpartum service -Monitoring the patient: monitor bleeding, vital signs, progress of labor -Breast feeding education -Teach the new mother the newborn care - Monitor the high risk pregnancy and the high risk postpartum • Working in the prenatal education unit - Organize prenatal classes -Teach the future mother about the labor and the delivery -prepare the delivery plan with the pregnant women
