I am a dedicated educator and special needs teacher based in Dubai, with extensive experience supporting students across all grade levels and abilities. However, my strength in this position was providing top quality translations at unbeatable deadlines. Freelance Translator and Copywriter (Arabic <> English)

In this job, I was both a translator and a copywriter. I was responsible for translating and editing a number of advertising materials such as press releases, menus, brochures, product information booklets, fliers… from Arabic into English and vice-versa. As for copywriting, I wrote a big number of eye-catching articles, advertisements, slogans and flyers for leading companies in the country : "Abdul Mohsen Abdul Aziz Al-Babtain Co. (Renault, Nissan, Infinity, Citroen), FASTtelco, I’m Watch Product, Harvey Nichols, Upper Crust Pizzeria, Infunity Entertainment Center (360 Mall), Magnolia Bakery, Munch Restaurant, Pottery Barn (Teens, Kids), West Elm, Williams Sonoma, OnCost, Total Oil, Vilebrequin, Al-Shamel travel, Wadha Racing team, GulfRun racing event, Campo Marzio", etc … I also enjoyed writing press releases in both English and Arabic to announce scheduled events, promotions, awards, new products and services, sales accomplishments, etc. for these companies. This job was a very exciting one and I really enjoyed working with the clients and providing them with high-quality translations and copywriting materials.

Public Relations Executive and Registrar

In this position, I was responsible for students’ registrations, cancellations and transfers. I also handled all public relation activities for school: after-school activities, event management, school trips. But mainly, and what I enjoyed doing the most was developing a warm and cordial relationship with all parents of CBS: listening to concerns and trying to resolve issues by contacting the appropriate person (Principal, classroom teacher…). The toughest part of this position was preparing yearly statistics for the Ministry of Private Education.
