I am a data journalist living in London and working for the Financial Times. Within the FT visual and data journalism department, I manage the data journalism desk— a team of journalists, designers and web developers who use computational methods to find and tell stories using data of all sorts. We also write the code behind the FT's new digital storytelling formats, including multimedia stories and interactive news applications.
