About

I’m a Learning & Development specialist with over 28 years of experience in education, specialising in digital learning, eLearning, curriculum design, and inclusive practice. I’ve designed frameworks, courses, and resources that have supported thousands of learners and educators across Europe. My work spans writing European-wide qualification and education frameworks, creating course outlines, lessons, and teaching resources that meet awarding-body standards, and helping organisations deliver effective, engaging, and accessible learning. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with awarding bodies, businesses, and education providers to deliver solutions that improve learning outcomes and make education more inclusive. My background also includes senior and managerial roles, covering course research, training needs analysis, funding applications, and full project delivery, from writing government-funded proposals through to managing enrolments, scheduling, and reporting. I’m qualified in assessment and internal quality assurance and have experience teaching across business, graphic design, IT, and CPD for educators at schools, colleges, universities, and private training providers. I’ve also contributed as a guest speaker for universities, sharing insights on digital learning and inclusive teaching. Selected highlights • Co-Author of qualification and education frameworks used by providers across Europe. • Designed online courses and digital learning resources aligned with industry and awarding-body standards. • Led funded projects and successful government proposals, managing delivery, documentation, and compliance. • Qualified in assessment and internal quality assurance, with experience conducting appraisals and teaching observations. • Delivered CPD training for educators across secondary, FE, HE, and private sectors, and contributed as a university guest speaker. • Growing specialism in neurodiversity support (Level 2 and Level 3), providing practical strategies for supporting learners and staff with dyslexia, ADHD, and autism. Current focus • Developing strategies for inclusive and accessible online learning • Supporting neurodiverse learners and embedding awareness in education and workplace environments • Sharing practical insights and resources to help educators, organisations, and learners achieve better outcomes If you work in education, training, or workplace learning — or you’re passionate about making learning more effective and inclusive — I’d love to connect and share insights.

Rhythm Nation, is a dance-based organisation put together by dance enthusiasts Simon Barnum. From different angles of the same industry, Rhythm Nation was established with the intention of providing professional style dance classes as a way of training, for those who have a more serious approach towards the dance industry. Based in North London and Hertfordshire, any child / teenager with a passion for dance can come to class on a weekly basis and learn all types of techniques and styles relevant to that of the “commercial world” of dance. Rhythm Nation prides itself on performance and professional work. With a plethora of professional work achieved in such little time, Rhythm Nation bridges that gap within the industry by providing sufficient training for potential dancers in order to either further their career, or incorporate them (the students) in the professional work that comes through directly to RN.
