Accountable for the overall R&D strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term value creation. I lead and oversee Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Safety, driving strategic planning, prioritization, and resource allocation across the organization. Manage the budgeting and operational execution of clinical programs, ensuring delivery on time and in line with business goals. I also lead and develop a cross-functional team of approximately 10 professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth. As a key member of the executive management team, I actively contribute to company strategy, governance, and decision-making, and serve as a trusted partner to the Board of Directors.

Led the clinical development function as a member of the executive management team, with full accountability for strategy, execution, budgets, and timelines. Built and scaled the clinical team from the ground up, including recruitment, role definition, and leadership development, while managing direct reports and ensuring effective prioritization of projects and resources. Drove the successful execution of clinical programs in line with strategic and operational goals.

Led European clinical operations, including Phase III trial close-out activities, and initiated and executed six investigator-initiated trials across multiple sites. Managed external partners and ensured high-quality trial execution across all activities.

Managed a multinational Phase III clinical trial across nine European countries, while also contributing to the oversight of US Phase III trial activities from start-up through termination. Coordinated cross-country operations, timelines, and stakeholders to ensure aligned and efficient execution.

I worked first as CRAdm from September 2007 to April 2008 and then as junior CRA from May 2008 to September 2008.
