About
Martin is the Manager of Accrington Stanley Community Trust and has a number of years’ experience in community development work. A former Professional Footballer at Accrington Stanley and current Semi Professional Footballer with Chester FC. Martin is a UEFA ‘B’ licence coach and is also currently taking his UEFA ‘B’ Licence Goalkeeping qualification. Also works part time as a Goalkeeping Coach within the Academy at Accrington Stanley. Martin has excellent knowledge of the local community and will be continuing to provide opportunities through the Trust for the people of Hyndburn to access.

Working alongside the Manager of the Charity to produce business plans and capability statuses. Setting up new projects to be delivered for the benefit of the Community. Ensuring all current and new projects are sustainable and researching the gaps in provision.

Acquiring core funding from partners and submitting successful funding bids. Setting up new key partners and retaining good relationships with current key partners. Meeting the key requirements of the Football League Trust, expanding the Charity to increase revenue streams and create new jobs.
