Own mechanical design and integration of sleeper structures, antenna mounts, Near Range Pod LiDAR systems, and roof-mounted sensor assemblies supporting a 14-vehicle pilot deployment of next-generation autonomous platforms. Lead cross-functional integration across mechanical, electrical, autonomy, and manufacturing teams, proactively resolving hardware-interface conflicts prior to validation milestones. Serve as Control Systems Integration Owner for autonomy-to-platform interface with external AV partner, driving technical alignment and influencing integration readiness decisions. Conduct tolerance-based interface analyses to mitigate installation risk and eliminate downstream rework during pilot and validation builds. Delivered a platform-level design review synthesizing validation inputs and open risks to support pilot build readiness and executive-level decision-making.

Supported pre-launch manufacturing readiness for exterior systems including hoods, fenders, mirrors, and lighting assemblies. Evaluated tooling feasibility and flagged installation risk drivers, partnering with design engineering to implement upstream corrections. Resolved assembly blockers through line trials, fit validation, and digital simulation during pre-production phases. Applied Lean manufacturing tools to improve build accuracy and reduce process cycle time.

Served as Mechanical Point of Contact for autonomous truck power distribution systems, contributing to subsystem architecture and validation builds. Partnered with electrical and thermal teams to enhance subsystem efficiency and reliability through coordinated virtual and physical integration efforts. Designed enclosures, brackets, and integrated assemblies with environmental sealing considerations for real-world durability. Collaborated with suppliers to define component specifications and support part maturation from concept through prototype readiness.

• Developed trim spec pages that communicated new seat material and style to performance, design, and quality groups for the first phase of vehicle packaging and data proposal. • Analyzed vehicle seat product to identify interference zones, verify fitting for new seat components, and to validate new seat design concept in development using drawings via Catia. • Improved product organization database systems (parts lists), to create better understanding and usefulness for new and unfamiliar engineers.
