BWA LLC purchased the assets and assumed limited liabilities of World Botanical Gardens, Inc. on October 1, 2013. I became a board member for World Botanical Gardens in 2004 when I also became their Webmaster. In 2010 I accepted the position of Treasurer / CFO. World Botanical Gardens, Inc. went into chapter 11 bankruptcy in April 2013. Botanical World Adventures now operates all of the attractions including Zip Isle Zip Line, Segway Off-Road Adventure and World Botanical Gardens, Waterfalls and Maze.

When my father died in 2005 the following day I received a call from his Shipmates from the USS Montpelier, his Light Cruiser from World War II. They asked if I would continue in his stead as Secretary/ Treasurer of the USS Montpelier Association. I accepted and remain an honorary shipmate to this day.

I held many positions during the time I was at Wayne-Dalton and previously Crawford Doors. I administered to the purchase of fourteen operation centers and was instrumental in 1990 with the acquisition of Crawford Door Sales by Wayne-Dalton, the worlds largest garage door manufacturer. We also had three operations centers added as our territory continued to expand after the acquisition. I was originally hired to administer the computer systems and develop control systems for the finance department. I was rapidly promoted to controller with direct report to the CFO, Tom Flanary. Our division of the company rapid grew until we were acquired by Wayne-Dalton. I assisted in the conversion of our accounting systems to a centralized system. I was made responsible for all issues related to Human Resources in the Northwest United States and Western Canada. I resigned in 1998 after being offered a position which required less travel and greater compensation.

I was responsible to the CFO at CDS, Inc. prior to Wayne-Dalton Corp. purchasing Crawford Door Sales.

ARS Properties, LLC owns commercial real estate in the Inland Northwest United State in and around Spokane, Washington. It is our business to managing the leasing and maintenance of these properties. Currently we service Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. We are headquartered in Spokane, Washington.

I am responsible for the general operations and financial resources of the company. My scope includes financing ventures, producing public reporting, dealing with legal issues, negotiating insurance matters and planning of all information systems including website development and marketing. I am responsible for the proper management of all assets in the company with emphasis on Inventory and Receivables. The purchasing and inventory control departments are also under my direct report. I am responsible for all issues related to Human Resource planning and administration. I administer all programs to retain and attract new employees. Our company has won several “Workplace of the Year” awards under my Human Resource administration. This allows us to attract excellent employees that outperform their peers. The company has gone into a growth phase under my watch and I now administer to two corporations under one parent. I expect continued growth in both corporations regardless of my future involvement due to the strategic planning and policies that I have helped to create.
