• Responsible for the financial health of the organization. Produce financial reports and develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of the organization. • Liaising with auditors to ensure annual audit is carried out, including taxation calculations, SARS e-filing and tax returns. • Monthly management of suppliers accounts. • Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company and improving systems to reduce costs. • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken. • Responsible for all companies insurance claims and yearly update of insurance portfolio. • Yearly information preparation for Stats SA and Frudata. • Responsible for all IT functions. • Monthly interest calculations on loan accounts. • In charge of telephone systems and internet for all companies. • Programs required: Pastel, Prophet QX, Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)

· Various business correspondence with clients, directors, clerks, professionals. · Time and deadline management. · Portfolio management – ensuring tasks are completed on a high quality level and ensuring that all client tasks are completed. · Preparation of financial statements: (audit, review, compilation, taxation) · Completion of tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and close corporations and the reconciliations thereof. Audit · Planning phase: This includes assessing the risk of material misstatement at financial statement and assertion level, determining the nature, timing and extent of audit procedures based on the risk assessment; allocating and scheduling staff to perform the fieldwork; budgeting; and having planning meetings with audit staff. · Fieldwork phase: This includes performing audit tests personally, ensuring that quality standards of audits are high, and producing completed audit files including all schedules with notes and recommendations for review and sign-off by a directors.
