Lead the credit origination and portfolio management of predominately investment grade companies covered by the Diversified Industries team. Oversee the structuring and underwriting of new lending activities, analyze and approve other credit requests, facilitate regulatory monitoring, and perform on-going portfolio monitoring. Manage and develop the Diversified Industries team which is comprised of Vice Presidents, Associates and Analysts. Other responsibilities include: Identifying the key risk factors associated with clients, transactions, and industry sub-sectors across an assigned portfolio; Developing and articulating a dynamic, forward-looking risk assessment of client companies, transactions, competitive threats, industry and other factors; Applying corporate finance and accounting expertise to develop appropriate financing structures; Reviewing and negotiating legal documentation to ensure terms are appropriate and consistent with credit approval; Providing a well-researched and thoughtful risk assessment of each assigned client on an ongoing basis; Provide early identification and proactive management of deteriorating credits and other problem situations; Work with bank examiners and internal credit reviewers to validate credit quality and integrity of the credit process.

Manage $9.2Bn of credit risk for 45 telecom and sports finance companies. Review and approve credit requests and trading limits and play a role in the documentation process. Decide on final risk rating of borrowers.

Responsible for credit risk management of 50 technology clients. Reviewed credit documentation and transaction structuring. Assisted in leverage finance transaction screening and approval discussions.

Conducted due diligence calls with challenged credits for the approval of new transactions. Approved, monitored, and determined risk rating and credit risk limits for 100 municipalities. Served as risk manager for 120 regional banks. Performed stress testing and monthly portfolio reviews for senior management.

Provided origination support and completed marketing materials for client discussions. Performed financial and rating agency impact analysis for 40 financial service clients. Created financial models to incorporate the effect of capital structure changes in acquisition financing scenarios.
