Reviewed, analyzed and evaluated school financial Local Control Accountability Plans and reports, including monthly financial reports, budgets, interim reports, multi-year projections, and audit reports. Provided technical expertise and advisory services to schools, districts, county office administrators, and the Board on financial matters, including preparation of revenue projections and calculations, budgets, interim reports, attendance, and year-end reporting. Prepared comprehensive and detailed reports to assist senior management and other policy makers in formulating decisions, and developing and implementing policies and procedures that impact schools.

Prepares journal entries, account work papers, complex bank reconciliation, ADA reports for COE programs, schedules, charts, complex spreadsheets, and database work papers. Analyzes, reconciles, and evaluates the accuracy of general ledger, accounting details, revenues, expenditures, accounting/budget/financial reports, and district cash balances, ensuring proper amounts, and posting year end deferred revenue and accounts receivable as necessary. Monitors and ensures compliance with COE fiscal policies, guidelines, internal fiscal controls, and applicable Federal and State regulations, codes, rules, and ordinances. Contacts and works with State, County, and other local agencies regarding the dissemination of tax revenue, interest allocations, revenue anticipation notes, bonds, and outside investments.
