Restructuring • Initiated cost reductions eliminating all of the variable cost associated with the lost revenue and reduced fixed costs by more than 25%. • Created a new business plan; presented to banks and creditors which included the restructuring of debt and line of credit to give the liquidity needed to execute restructuring plan. • Grew the business from one company and $13MM in revenue to 3 companies and more than $75MM in revenue. Vertically Integrated Organization Structure • Developed a vertically integrated organization structure by forming a new company to supply the original operating company with 90% of its raw material need. • Created a new marketing company to sell core products to a more highly regulated business sector by setting up custom operating procedures, developing separate banking relationships and establishing immediate credibility under a highly scrutinized environment. • Recently enhanced vertically organized business by adding a 2nd supply chain operation to the business to provide raw materials to a newly expanded business line; Credit Policies and Procedures • Instituted full credit policies and developed customized credit agreements for different customer profiles, resulting in impeccable collection results: less than $75k in receivable write-offs since 2008, and cumulative revenues in excess of $500MM. Human Resources • Incurred no losses due to employment related issues since joining the company. • Supervised the HR function and HR manager; created the SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures). • Created a structure for operating performance, producing a very successful and highly accountable performance level in all aspects of the organization: established all production KPI’s, becoming a standard in the industry.
