Lead tax director with direct supervision for all securitization and capital market transactions for GECA, and subject matter expert for all syndication and securitization transactions for GECC and GE’s industrial business. Oversee origination exercises, new product development, and tax accounting and reporting. Transactions include U.S. and international trade receivable programs, equipment leasing programs, trade payable, debt for tax structures, and REMICs Tax lead on disposition of loan origination and syndication platform valued at over $12 billion dollars. The transaction was high profile, and extremely time sensitive, going from concept to signing in less than 60 days and involved multiple bidders, both domestics and foreign, each with different needs and structures. Lead, among other things, due diligence requests, investor meeting, and drafting of tax related provisions of the purchase agreement. Tax lead on several other dispositions, including U.S. and Canadian platforms.
