Examples of these units are:- SVHS-RGB Converters, Computer Controlled Voting Systems, Sync Pulse Generators, Power Supplies, PAL Encoders/Decoders, RGB Distribution Amplifiers, BBC Master Genlock Boards. In my position of CSE my duties involve close customer liaison with all major UK based airlines, as well as IFE system preventative maintenance/modifications, installations and retrofits. Analyzing data logs taken from the aircraft I was able to pin point susceptible failures in LRU’s and provide customers with corrective actions to keep system reliability at its maximum. This role also involved customer training, fly-along support and support for retrofit programs both throughout the UK and abroad. I offered technical support on all MAS systems (including 2000e and 3000) to both the customer and to fellow MSR’s. Within this role I gained experience in negotiation and interpersonal skills.
