- Adapt and implement Colas Rail Egypt's purchasing policy to meet customer needs. - Execute and monitor the purchasing process for local and, in specific cases, purchases abroad under supervision. - Contribute to planning and executing Purchasing Kick-off meetings. - Manage Supplier sourcing, pre-qualification, and evaluation. - Prepare RFQ and consult with selected suppliers. - Analyze offers and report to hierarchy, including negotiation objectives. - Propose purchasing recommendations based on TCO analysis to hierarchy and Project management. - Negotiate with suppliers, monitor exchanges, and update TCOs. - Ensure acknowledgment of receipt of orders. - Edit orders in purchasing software and ensure logistics, administrative, and contractual follow-up with hierarchy, project management, and support services. - Assist in costing tenders by consulting suppliers or providing price estimates. - Define application terms of Framework Contracts with project management, detected subjects and suppliers for "Framework Contract" actions. - Contribute to the overall and commodity roadmaps for Colas Rail Egypt. - Promote Purchasing actions within the organization. - Participate in training activities for colleagues and partners' employees. - Support logistics/customs clearance with regular follow-up and reporting to hierarchy and Project Management. - Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure goods reception on purchasing software. - Participate in events and exhibitions to expand the supplier network. - Coach newly hired employees as needed.

- Draft and send Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure having different technical and financial proposals from all business partners. - Responsible for issuing Purchase Orders using ERP System “Maximo V7.6”. - Responsible for issuing a weekly procurement payments report. - Responsible for issuing a weekly procurement follow up report. - Analyze all suppliers and subcontractors in order to select the most suitable supplier to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing. - Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors cost and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.

- Ensuring supply meets the needs of the customer order and/or foretasted demand. - Release of purchase requisitions and/or stock transport orders. - Review and update safety stocks, lead times and other MRP data. - Escalate to Supply Chain manager when a customer order will be impacted by supply. - Schedule the supply of materials to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels. - Plan, develop, and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit. - Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM). - Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels.

- Oversaw the Machining Process via the 5 Axes Machine. - Used Stratasys Dimension SST, Renishaw Cyclone, Scanning Machine, Faro Arm 3D Laser Scanner and Geomagic Software to get hands on experience on Rapid Prototyping, Reverse Engineering and Laser Profiling. - Designed models using 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks). - Generated tool path and CNC code using CAD/CAM (OneCNC). - Observed industrial practice in typical UK manufacturing companies.
