Founding Chair of UN Global Compact Network Ireland, the formally constituted UN Global Compact Country Network for Ireland. Provide national-level Board leadership and governance oversight, including financial stewardship, integrity, and alignment with UN Global Compact Quality Standards. Working in partnership with the Executive Director and Board to establish the long-term governance, operating model, and strategic foundations for the UN Global Compact’s work with Irish business and stakeholders.

Appointed to the Advisory Board established to support the formation and transition of UN Global Compact Network Ireland from an informal network into a formally incorporated UN Global Compact Country Network. Contributed to the development of governance structures, incorporation planning, financial framework, and alignment with UN Global Compact Quality Standards, culminating in the establishment of the Network as a Company Limited by Guarantee and the appointment of the inaugural Board and Chair.

Appointed as Interim CFO to focus on the financial and operational restructuring of the business in early 2007. I subsequently took on the role of CEO in November 2007.

I joined Yahoo! in 2004 with a focus on driving the operational launch of the new EMEA Shared Service Centre and Operational HQ out of Dublin. This required integrating a number of acquired operating entities from across the EMEA region with substantial focus on, Shared Service Ops, IP and tax planning. This was the first cross Group role in the Yahoo! EMEA business and required me to split my time between the main London site and the Dublin Shared Service Centre.

I joined NetApp in 1999 initially as UK & Irl FD and then progressed with a move to the US to take on the role as WW FD for Customer Operations based in Sunnyvale in 2001. I returned to Europe to take over as EMEA FD based out of Amsterdam in 2003

Employed as a Business Analyst supporting the UK & Irl Sales Leadership team and was then promoted after 18 months to a Pan European role a Finance Manager for Sun's manufacturing arm, Sun Microelectronics.

Initially employed as a UK Business Analyst and then promoted after 18 months to a pan European role with a focus on the Scandinavian Operations.
