Design and Paste-up artwork for self adhesive product labels for the manufacture of letterpress and flexographic printing plates. Darkroom duties and camera work. Studio Management of two staff.

This position was undertaken during a year out at The Outside Clinic. Created artwork of exhibition and point of sale materials for wide-format printing, Pop-Up Displays and Roll-Up banner systems. Experience using HP and Novajet wide-format printers. Made redundant due to a rapid fall-off in the workload in a last in, first out scenario. Re-employed at The Outside Clinic after restructuring.

Preparation and production of lithographic and letterpress printing plates from Imagesetting (negatives). Darkroom camera work and disproportion of negatives for dry offset letterpress printing in a security print environment.

Submission of files to colour management system before proofing and lithographic plate making. Develop customer briefs into full fledged artwork and proof prior to printing. Notable highlights. Advised company to utilise pdf manipulation software for pdf editing and correction facilities to save time and achieve a print ready solution. Helped initiate colour management protocols for ink saving resulting in reduced costs. Consolidate data with documents for digital printing of short run projects. Left due to company closure.
