The City of Wanneroo undertook a major restructure in July 2009, in which many staff positions, including that of the Business Intelligence team were removed from the establishment and staff offered other positions internally. I undertook the position of Network Administrator, where I had responsibility of the City’s complete network infrastructure, including WAN and LAN environments. Other duties included subnet management, hardware maintenance, troubleshooting network outages, maintaining the Active Directory, creating new users and providing them with access to the City’s network, creating mailboxes in Microsoft Exchange, creating ISA Server rules, maintaining the McAfee Webfilter and ensuring that daily, weekly and monthly backups were done.

As Business Analyst, I was responsible for the Project Management of the RRIF (Regulation Reduction Incentive Fund) WA project, which was an Aus Industry incentive for the small business community in Western Australia. Other duties include mapping business processes, requirements gathering and writing functional specifications for various ongoing projects.
