Senior member of a team providing onshore and offshore security risk services to a major global oil and gas company; acting as the focal point for all security matters whilst offshore. This involves developing best practice and other relevant policies/plans applicable to onshore and offshore installations. Including co-operating with the vessel security managers and Masters in implementing new protective security measures and enhancing existing measures (anti-boarding, anti-penetration measures, technical security measures and procedural measures including lock-down drills, emergency response plans etc); and ensuring all processes and procedures are followed by the vessel crew. Responsibilities also include carrying out specific threat and vulnerability (risk) assessments to ensure the Maritime Exclusion Zone and Monitoring Zone is maintained and continuously monitored. Included in the responsibilities is the requirement to gather and distribute security related information/intelligence from available and appropriate sources

Incumbent Operations Manager for BHME; responsible for the command and control of all Blue Hackle Operations in Iraq, receiving guidance and direction (where appropriate) Blue Hackle Corporate HQ London. Operational Control: • Operational command and control of all Blue Hackle operations across Iraq • Formulates safe work practises, site security plans and procedures. • Ensure Standing Operating Procedures are adhered to. Review and update the procedures as required inclusive of but not limited to: vvehicle monitoring, expat tracking, search procedures of personnel and vehicles, operation room protocol, movement procedures, checkpoint procedures and physical security measures • As overall control during and investigates post security incidents, including reporting • Oversee the implementation of new directives and initiatives from the GOI (MOI), BHHQ London. • Mobilise and demobilise operations, projects and tasks • Ensure all Operational Teams are fit for purpose and all Task Orders are completed. • Conduct daily security briefings and pass on relevant information to out-stations. • Oversee the collation of all sources of intelligence and timely distribution to all operations and outstations. • Periodically review Emergency Relocation and Emergency Medical plans • Instigates regular “live” and “table top” scenarios to test teams and clients preparedness • Develop and implements required security procedures. Supervises external contractors with respect to security activities • Compile and submit serious incident reports (SIRs) and formulate assessments and recommendations based on the empirical evidence gained. • Implements new processes to ensure good security. • Conducts security assessments of existing and new locations implementing relevant procedures to ensure compliance. • Assess and install security enhancements and physical measures as required to ensure the safety of the client base.
