Cowan Eco Design is a new initiative and design studio headed up by Mark Elton, who brings with him a wealth of experience in this area of design having worked on exemplary new build and refurbishment projects across the country. Cowan Eco Design will establish a central London base for Cowan Architects Ltd, focussing on Passivhaus and retrofit projects. Cowan Architects is an established practice based in East Grinstead, West Sussex, working throughout the UK, with significant experience across many sectors, including developer residential, healthcare, home-owner residential, commercial and industrial with project values ranging from £100k to £10m. A proven track record for residential and healthcare work has resulted in an additional speciality, with the practice being recognised as one of the leading architectural firms for inclusive design. A product of this reputation is that five of our Architects now act as Expert Witnesses on disability needs in High Court cases.
