● Suspension Lead 2016-2017. Designed the control arm node placement to optimize roll centers and camber curves. Configured the bell crank and pushrod geometry in conjunction with the chassis and aero packages. Manufactured everything using machines such as a CNC Lathe, Haas CNC Mill, Waterjet, and a TIG welder. Involved the design and use of various jigs and fixtures. ● Suspension and Chassis 2017-2018. Improved on previous year’s design by redesigning the chassis for better control arm node placement. Increased torsional stiffness by 30% while removing over 25 lbs from the rolling chassis. Also streamlined the manufacturing process while improving the quality and tolerances.
