Developed command policy, programmed resources and provided oversight of all headquarters Air Education and Training Command graduate aircrew flying training. Supervised program managers for airlift, tanker, fighter, special operations, helicopter, air battle manager and survival training. Oversaw training programs and resource requirements for new Air Force aircraft acquisition such as the Joint Strike Fighter, Joint Cargo Aircraft and KC-X.

Formal training instructor; piloted trainer aircraft to accomplish the pilot training mission. Conducted training in the T-1 to develop flying skills, procedural knowledge and judgment in student pilots to include instrument flying and advanced avionics.

Directed 16 diverse operations of 25 officers, 90 enlisted personnel, 17 civilians, 15 contractors and over 200 transition officers operating in 5 different facilities supporting an operations group of over 1200 personnel. Responsible for day to day decisions involving air traffic control, air field management, weather support, wing scheduling and the execution and quality of all phase 1 specialized undergraduate pilot training.

Supervised flying activities for over 150 assigned and attached officer and enlisted instructor aircrew members in selectively manned combat crew training school. Oversaw scheduling to ensure currency and readiness of unit personnel to support local training and worldwide contingency missions.

Instructed and evaluated pilots from basic qualification through instructor pilot; aircraft captain on worldwide airlift missions.

Administered flight evaluations and provided upgrade, continuation, and remedial training to assigned pilots in both classroom and airborne environments; commanded missions supporting key federal officials, members of congress, and senior ranking military leaders.

Serve as a T-96 (T-1A) simulator instructor for students in Combat System Officer, Undergraduate Flying Training for the United States Air Force. Maintain an extensive knowledge of simulator capabilities and functions, prepare mission profiles to support course objectives, and formulate quality control procedures to standardize training and evaluation. Plan simulator missions in accordance with the syllabus, and thoroughly brief students on mission profile and expected training maneuver performance objectives.
