I learned to work with stem cells at this department. The aim was to reprogram fibroblasts into induced pluripotent stem cells (IPSC's). The IPSC's were analyzed on expression of stem cell markers by means of immunofluorescence and Q-RT-PCR. Eventually, the IPSC's were differentiated into photoreceptor cells and neurons to get more information about eye and brain disorders.
