Prepared technical documentation on juvenile justice systems, best practices to avoid juvenile deprivation of liberty to support the debate on international standards of juvenile justice systems in Central Asia during the Central Asia Juvenile Justice Forum (Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, 29th – 30th May 2011). Conceptualized the “End placing children under three in institutions – A call to action” publication which was presented at the European Parliament during the launch of the UNICEF campaign for the non-institutionalization of children under three in Eastern Europe

Represented, advocated and coordinated initiatives for the Chamber that lead to the establishment of permanent relationships with the EU and the European Permanent Missions in Geneva. Coordinated and facilitated 12 economic and political stakeholders’ events, resulting in the communication through Swiss and Italian media of the economic activity results of Italian companies in Switzerland and other industrialized countries with reference to biotech, investments, and technology, as well as on the Italian policy on trade and development (outreached an average of 150 people per event).

Reported both to the Head of Office and to the relevant department at HQ. Compiled, wrote, submitted for clearance and sent on time to HQ: 32 main internal and external Situation Report on UNHCR activities in Greece, 7 emergency situations as they developed through Real-Time Updates, 3 monthly factsheets, highlighting the objectives according to the program and including the financial information for donors. The delivery of timely reports was particularly challenging in a fast-changing operation.

Co-organized and moderated a side event at the 32nd Session of the HRC (Human Rights Council), entitled "The migration crisis in Europe: stakes and challenges”, for the NGO Villages Unis and the International Institute of Humanitarian Law.

* Reported to the Chief of Field Operations and produced 3 UNICEF Mali Ebola Flash Updates and 3 monthly Situation Reports. Prepared and sent 20 reports: OCHA (4 section reports and 1 consolidated report) * CER (Consolidated Emergency Report) (8 section reports and 1 consolidated report) * ECHO (European Commission Humanitarian Office) (4 reports on Health, Nutrition, Protection and WASH) * 1 report for the Bill &Melinda Gates Foundation. Developed concept notes and proposals to donors on Ebola and WASH in Southern Mali submitted to the EU DG DEVCO and ECHO: 4 million € until 2017.

Initiated, controlled and supervised the implementation of information and communication actions aiming at raising awareness on politics and actions of the EU in the Member State. Within the framework of the agreement with the Italian Ministry of Education I was tasked to produce 1 concept note for a pilot project and an operational plan aimed at giving the population of Italian primary, secondary and upper secondary school teachers the instruments to develop and implement the European dimension of civic education at school. Collaborated with the representatives of the European Commission in Brussels to sign an agreement with the Italian Ministry of Education for the implementation of the Pilot Project.

Prepared press release and media kits for the 2012 Swiss Red Cross Ball. Collaborated with mass media through activities such as organizing project site visits, facilitating photo coverage, and utilizing mainly traditional media as appropriate.
