As a young enthusiastic adventurer I am always seeking for new experiences and opportunities. The hospitality industry opened new doors, in which I can combine my passion for culture, nature and the industry itself. My years of experience within the field and my current education have allowed me to continuously develop myself and broaden my horizon. As a student of Stenden University I got the opportunity to study in a completely different culture: South Africa. Currently specializing in Lodge and Wildlife Management, I am hoping to link the hospitality to nature in a different matter. My passion for tourism, hospitality and innovation creates an eagerness to fulfill my passion in a 10-month internship that comprehends all these topics.

Hotel Not Hotel is a small informal hotel in Amsterdam West. Due to the small size it is possible to ensure personal contact with employees as well as guests. As a part of my internship (with extended employment) the following duties were conducted: As a duty manager: fully responsible of daily operations, ensuring optimal guest experience, handling guest inquiries, managerial knowledge-level of Winner front office system, and assisting in the recruitment, training and development of front office staff. As a housekeeping manager: responsible of recruiting, training, and development of housekeeping staff, inventory regulation, and controlling daily planning and operations.
