• Reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions. Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. • Processes purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers. • Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive. • Follow up development of NPI´s. • Identify cost reduction opportunities and develop savings projects. • Work closely with the commodity manager to develop the business strategy. • Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to negotiate highest quality at best value.

• Develop strong operational relationships with designated raw material suppliers. • Gain a deep understanding of the suppliers’ products, production capabilities & capacities, order lead times, and supplier contact names. • Negotiate fair pricing with designated buyer managed suppliers. • Lead the execution of all raw material purchase orders. • Collect and monitor supplier delivery performance. • Look, propose and develop saving projects.

• Create the daily production plan according to due dates, customer emergencies, availability of materials and personnel. • Coordination of delivery of urgent orders to clients. • Analysis of the demand horizon for coordination, hiring or reassignment of groups to meet the client forecast • Develop project to automate internal process.

• Planning and placing purchase orders for raw materials to satisfy the factory's reorder points. • Management and monitoring of inventory levels. • Negotiations with suppliers to expedite material. • Implementation of logistics models (LSA, Consignment, MTO). • Develop proposals to reduce inventory levels. • Run and analyze the forecast for future requirements. • Develop projects to automate internal processes.

• Generation and follow up of the internal KPI´S department • Run departmental reports • Suppliers’ reliability evaluation • Consolidation of all the actual supplier’s information. • Clean and update the supplier information system.
