Administer all aspects of municipal services funded for elders, including the Aging and Disability Resource Center and liaison to Anchorage and Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Centers. In addition, serve as Program Manager for Emergency Outreach Services and Homeless Management Information Systems. Administer HUD Emergency Solutions Grant, rental and utility assistance programs and community efforts to prevent homelessness and improve services to vulnerable adults and elders. Responsibilities: Overseeing all aspects of this Prevent Child Abuse Alaska Chapter, including implementing evidence-based child abuse prevention initiatives in collaboration with Alaska Children’s Trust, overseeing grants, multi-media media campaigns and creating a Community Resource Kit. Dial Help is a non-profit agency serving all 15 counties in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula by offering 24-hour crisis intervention and mental health services, substance abuse and violence prevention, rape crisis and crime victim support, elder abuse prevention, Senior Helpline, Alzheimer’s caregiver support services. Responsibilities: Supervising 9 staff and 75+ volunteers providing 24-hour crisis intervention, on-call crisis response team, overseeing program development, grants, community education and training.

Willow Hall is a 12-bed women’s residential treatment program serving Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, offering treatment for women recovering from alcoholism, chemical dependency and eating disorders. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of facility including treatment, counseling for residents, licensing and accreditation, grants, facility operations, renovations, supervise staff and community outreach.

Oregon Fair Share is a grass roots membership based advocacy organization committed to universal access to health care, a living wage, tax equity, and meeting the needs of the elderly, migrant workers and the uninsured. Responsibilities: Coordinating statewide outreach to 50,000 members, overseeing press releases, newsletters, education materials and donor campaigns, supervise staff and volunteers, community outreach and advocacy.

As sole LCSW on a multi-disciplinary health care team, provide pyscho-social assessments, clinical interventions, facilitate support groups to improve patient and caregiver well-being and enhance overall quality of life for cancer survivors. Katmai is a private oncology practice serving Alaskans with clinics in Anchorage and Soldotna. Chair annual “Moving Beyond Cancer to Wellness” Conferences, liaison for survivorship and comprehensive cancer activities.

As LCSW on a multi-disciplinary Patient Navigation Team based in a hospital based Cancer Center, collaborate across the systems of care to serve Alaskan patients and families from across the state in effort to improve access to care, early diagnosis, treatment, palliative care, hospice if needed and enhance survivorship programs. Provide psycho-social assessments, counseling and facilitate several support groups.
