On daily basis I dealt with 3rd party openings and Settlements' Instructions. With Settlements team I made sure that trades have Settlement's Instructions before the value day of the trade. Mostly, our AM Team supported Foreign Exchange transactions. We set up new accounts in our system-Spectrum, uploaded Settlement Instructions for currencies and solved issues with Trade Support to ensure the operational process is STP. The collaboration with different teams and touching client facing aspects of job helped to understand different angles of Foreign Exchange Operations

Developed leadership skills,attended mock interviews, proactively participated in group discussions and made presentations to build my personal brand.

This internship helped me to understand how market data consultants create sales. I reconciled a proprietary database of vendor information, entered information regarding contracts into OnBase system & uploaded client’s contracts on NYSE website. What is more, I created research briefings on market, competitors, articles, indexes of market data, summarized data. The most important part was to create pipeline to track market data sales.

My day-to-day job was to process company's invoices, create new employee and weekly payroll in Paychex. I submitted credit card payments, chargebacks & daily sales postings into QuickBooks as well. One of the most important reports was to enter company’s weekly check sheet expenses into Excel for Total Operating Cost reports, it showed analysis on company’s expenses and cash flows. This experience helped me to understand the importance of data entry and attention to detail

This internship meant to support Staff Accountants. I provided administrative support, mailed, scanned, faxed and maintained hard copy filing system. If needed, provided light data entry in systems. I understood how it is important to stay organized.
