Researching and writing profiles of 70 Alberta artists, describing their work, their approach and their techniques. Synthesis of Internet research and hard-copy documents, plus contact with the artists themselves when possible. A combination of clear writing, lively language and concision required. Profiles to be posted on the AFA website.

Freelance translation into French of interviews, film summaries and interface material as part of the Canadian Film Online project for Dr Evelyn Ellerman, professor of Communications, Athabasca University, Alberta (Spring 2012)

Researched, edited and/or composed biographical profiles of some of the French-Canadian authors which appear on the website of Athabasca University

Part-time teaching of French language courses for the Modern Languages and Cultural Studies department at the University of Alberta. While a graduate teaching assistant, I also taught, and/or tutored, language, reading, conversation and literature courses for the University's Faculty of Extension, Edmonton, and at the French departments of Queen's University, Kingston (ON) and Western University (London, ON)

Freelance translation into English of _Les Médecines douces_, a guide to complementary medicine by Dr Serge Rafal, for First Edition Translations Ltd, Cambridge, UK. Working in long-distance collaboration with an editor (David Price) and a co-translator (John Williams), completed the project unsupervised and on schedule.
